On September 20, 2024, the Permanent Missions of Mongolia and Kenya to the United Nations, in collaboration with the Committee for the Promotion and Advancement of Cooperatives (COPAC), will host a side event at the Summit of the Future. This virtual event will explore how cooperatives are at the forefront of democratizing science and technology, making significant contributions to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth and Goal 10: Reducing Inequality.
This event will highlight the critical role of intercooperation, the integration of youth, and the adoption of new technologies to promote sustainable and inclusive development.
