On 14 November the #coops4dev team will host the first meeting of the International Cooperative Development Platform. Cooperative organisations active in international development, including the CEDP and the OCDC, will further discuss how to reach stronger coordination and collaboration and develop a plan of action to pursue an exchange of expertise and create international visibility, as well as to get a stronger voice vis-à-vis political institutions will be developed (by invitation only).
The #coops4dev ICA-EU partnership aims to bring the co-operative model to the next level within international development policies and programs. It is built around activities of growing visibility, enhancing advocacy, sharing capacity building, strengthening co-operative development networking and supporting it all with evidence from exhaustive research.
