The latest edition of the Alliance’s eDigest is now available. This month’s newsletter features an interview with Alliance president, Monique Leroux, who looks at the state of the movement at the end of her two-year term.
With a new president due to be elected at the Alliance’s general assembly in Malaysia next month, the eDigest also includes information about the candidates for the organisation’s board and president position.

A special section dedicated to the movement’s response to natural disasters in the Americas and Asia-Pacific. The topic was also touched upon at the regional conference of Cooperatives of the Americas, where co-operators set out a vision for the future.
In other news a recent report shows that co-ops employ 10% of the population while the efforts of co-ops in terms of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals were presented at the UN General Assembly in New York.
