Description
The ICA-EU Partnership (implemented by the International Co-operative Alliance) requests for a serial of documentary video clips and written briefs on cooperatives from across the globe having contributed to the improvement of life conditions and the promotion of sustainable development through innovative and inclusive methods and means.
Objectives
a) Increase the visibility of the impact of the cooperative model on the the improvement of people’s wellbeing at local/community (and regional) level;
b) Raise awareness on the role of collective action developed by cooperatives and share knowledge on methodologies for participatory action research with cooperatives.
Foreseen uses of the products
a) Dissemination on online media channels (e.g. youtube, twitter, facebook, linkedIn);
b) Complementary material for conferences, trainings and meetings;
c) Research material for research, policy and capacity building purposes.
Scope
Diverse representation of cooperatives in line with the criteria described in point 1 of this document in terms of:
a) Geography: the selected cooperatives should originate from a balanced representation of all continents and regions within each continent;
b) Theme: the selected cooperatives should be active in a heterogeneous collection of development thematic areas:
c) Sector: the selected cooperatives should represent a variety of professional/activity sectors.
The contractor will consult with the International Co-operative Alliance the selection of cooperatives to be part of the project.
